Engines | CAE | Animate

This option is used to animate CAE results. Animation Controller is used to control this animation.

Click Engines | CAE | Animate. It pops up Animation Controller dialog box and initiates the CAE animation.

    Select Animation Set  

    : Select the animation sequence.

    Show Selected Only  

    : Shows the selected geometry for this sequence only.

    Play/Stop  

    : Toggle to stop or start.

    : Stop and set First frame.

    <<  

    : Previous frame.

    >>  

    : Next frame

    >>|  

    : Stop and set Last frame

    Cycle  

    : Making animation cyclic by setting first frame next to last frame.

    Swing  

    : Making animation as a swing by setting sequence 0 to N as forward swing and N to 0 as return swing.

CAE Explorer

This option is used manage the product tree across all frames. This is also used to hide/unhide objects in the scene. It is recommended to use this "CAE Explorer"  instead of "Product Explorer" for all CAE animation Data generated using VMoveCAE.

  • Invert Show / Hide           : Used to invert the state of show and hide of all parts in the product tree.

  • Delete All Hidden Nodes : Used to delete all the parts shown as hidden state in the product tree.

 

 

 

 

Capture CAE Animation

This option is used to capture the CAE animation as an AVI or animated GIF file.

 

 

 

  • Output File     : To select the output file.

  • Frame Rate    : To specify the speed of the animation. It is used for both GIF and AVI. By default, the frame rate is 16.

  •  

  • Size                : To specify the size of the animation. It is used only for AVI. By default, the size is 100%

  • Normal          :  The quality for AVI. It consumes more memory when the AVI is created. It produces good quality AVI.

  • Lossy             : Produces AVI with slightly lesser quality.

  • Capture          : Capturing animation
