Engines | Product Explorer

Product Explorer helps in viewing the product tree as it comes from the original file. One of the most important uses of the Explorer is to hide and unhide the objects in the scene. The Product Tree in VCollab consists of a number of nodes arranged in a hierarchical manner. The connection between the nodes identifies the relationships between the nodes.

Engines | Product Explorer | Highlight Node

This option is provided as a check box. If this checked on, then each time a node is clicked in the Product Tree, it will be highlighted in the Viewer Window with a Bounding Box.

Engines | Product Explorer | Refresh

Use the Refresh button to refresh the Product Tree displayed in the Product Explorer window

Engines | Product Explorer | +

Engines | Product Explorer | -

Ö

Click on this tick mark symbol to hide the selected Node. Once hidden, the object is not visible in the Viewer Window, however the node is still available in the Product Tree but without the Tick mark indicating that the object is hidden.
The Hidden object / Node can be restored either clicking on the empty box where the tick mark was present- in which case the tick mark re-appears or by using the Tools | Options | While Reset Show Hidden Objects Options.
The Hidden Objects / Nodes can be stored using the Tools | Options | Store Hidden Objects. Objects / Nodes hidden in one session can be restored during a subsequent session by using Tools | Options | Restore Hidden Objects provided the loaded geometry both during the Store and Restore are the same
Engines | Product Explorer | Seek
