Pro
allows the user to fit the component (shape) in the scene. This is
particularly useful in a large dataset when it is required to
examine one component in the entire assembly.
This option is available both as a part of the Main GUI and as a
part of the Product Explorer.
Seeking an Object in VCollab Pro
- Using Main GUI
- Select the Tools | Seek Option,
which enables seek mode.
- Click the desired component using the left mouse
- The component will fit into the screen.
- Using Product Explorer dialog box Menu
- Select the node in the tree which has to be focused to, using the
left mouse
- On the Node, click the right mouse
- Pop up dialog box appears
- Select the option Seek
The Selected node will be brought into focus in the Viewer window
and highlighted with a bounding box and by using middle button user
can seek a particular sub-tree, middle click on a node in the
product tree. If the middle button is re-clicked on the same node
then seek will be applied to entire tree.
